Took the afternoon off and decided to hit Moodus. I chose lower, since it has a couple of areas where I can usually find something on a dropshot, if the shallow water action is lousy......
Well the shallow water action was lousy,..but the deeper water action was non-existent! I threw a DS, tube, senko, several frogs, shakey worm and jigs of all shapes sizes and colors. I really struggled to get 4 bass in 5 hours. All were caught in the lily pads and all were between 1 and 2 lbs.
On the plus side, it was a beautiful day to be on the water,...I'm sure that in another couple of months,..that I'll trade for this one in a heartbeat! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Still a great way to avoid the skunk and enjoy one of the most beautiful days of the year.
