Hey phil good to finally meet you!
later in the afternoon we took a run up river to clean out the motor and I started marking fish in a usual spot and no one was around.
So we put a couple rigs in to see if they were hungry and hooked up a bunch
of fish but then i got this.....35" 20lb

Hey, it was great to meet you, too, Rich. Please apologize to your fishing buddy for me; after we saw you, Mark and I couldn't remember his name. I know that I'm getting old, but Mark's just a kid and has no excuse for his failing memory.
Congratulations on locating some keeper stripers and on boating your personal best. Now, I have to know, did you eat it? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

It's become a tradition to argue about fish sizes in photographs on this site, now.
Hey, stripertime! Why don't you post a photo of what you think a 20 pound striper looks like? And, no, I'm not trying to give you crap. I only know what a 7-1/2 pound striper looks like in my own experience. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Caught few 37" ers this year that were pretty fat that didn't make 20 lbs. One was 19 a.d the other was just over 18. We aren't weighing them with certified scales though so maybe mine was low or his is high . Not too far off though. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

I'd kill to get out there! I am saving up for a decent boat to get myself out on the water this time of year. Its just too cold to use my kayak now. I'm so eager to get back out and fish again!!! |
