Anybody else been out ice fishing yet? I had some vacation days from work that I saved for the end of the year and decided to use them up on Bantam Lake for 5 day trips. Payed off pretty good got some nice pike all on dead baits. I never have a tape on me it's bad luck so here are some pictures, I don't know how big some of them are so let me hear your guesses at the lengths.

Nice catches!
Picture can't always do justice. My guess is ranging from 18" to 26".
Were you using dead shiners or dead suckers? |

Hard to say how big, but I'd say the last one is a lot bigger than 26". Congrats on the nice fish! _________________ PB LMB: 4lb 13oz

Nice Pike, the smallest 1 is definitely bigger then 26"! Id say smallest is about 32 and biggest is around 38. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Thanks everyone. I won't be able to get out on the ice until February since spring semester starts tomorrow at CCSU but good luck to everyone. After this weekend most places up in the NW hills should be good to go. _________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o21/PickerelPete/IfeH-r.gif |
