| Checking to see how the condition of the ice is in Litchfield County currently vs this past weekend. I hope the ice made it through the warm temps and strong sun and is still reliable in places. |

I just looked at the NWS pinpoint forecast for Dog Pond.
If the ice in Litchfield County is reliable as of now and can make it through about a quarter of an inch of rain Friday, then Saturday looks like a good day. |

If this helps there is 3-4 inches on higganum resivoir in southern/central ct huge bass got caught this weekend out of there 4 5-6 lbers caught by my friends last saturday and sunday.
Dog pond should be fine! it is 10 feet at most and i may hit it saturday to.

Will the Ice Hold 
Wx for Winsted, Ct. (NW corner) for next 4 days - per NOAA Wx
Today 37 F + Rain tonight - Probability 60%
Saturday 45 F day + 37 F night
Sunday 50 F day + 38 F night
Monday 46 F day + 42 F night
Next real cold Wx period won't start till next Thursday ... per NOAA Wx report !
CHECK THAT ICE THICKNESS EVERY FEW FEET FROM THE SHORE OUTWARD !
