WTF is the DEP or State or whomever set up that site this year. Every year I pay by debit card on the first or second of Jan and this year they set it up online so you can only use a credit card and not debit! Are these people the biggest morons on the face of this earth or what.

Debit cards work as credit cards tho. Stop smoking crack before you go on the dep site.

They were having trouble processing cards on 1/1. I was unable to renew all day. About to give it another go.

Just completed a purchase. Less than 1 min. Must have been swamped 1/1 with eager iceholes. Very Happy

I know it works as a credit card CD!!!!!! LOL, thats why when I tried it about 3 times with my card and then another 3 times using our shared card I was freakin pissed off! There is a difference between a credit card and a debit card as with a debit card you have to have the money in there unlike a credit card.
It went through tonight. thanks all for responding as I truly thought they had changed something for this year and there arent any Dicks or much of anything I can get to after work thats still open without going way out of my way.

So why in hell do they say on line #9 of the frequently asked questions do they state the site doesn't except debit cards? That's; pretty darn stupid... ....

Maybe they mean atm card, or a debit card without the visa logo on it.
Done! right?
