How can that picture be a stripper when it's a fish and not a hot, attractive woman dancing around a pole? |

Nice stripes!
Sorry about offering unsolicited advice but "finally" implies you put quite a bit of time in. Glad to see it paid off for you.
Have you tried fishing artificials? A $3 bucktail, one ounce or so, in chartreuse or a similarly bright color might increase your hook up rate if you are in a spot holding fish. Sometimes stripers don't seem to go for even the best bait but will hit something visually interesting if it swims past them . An SP minnow by Diawa costs a bit more but you would run less risk of losing it on the bottom as it floats and is sure to catch fish as well, if they are there.
Good luck! _________________ Herring? |

Thanks for.the advice @ sea duck, what i meant by finally was catching a striper of decent size, coz the last few weeks all we were hooking onto were stingrays after stingrays, like 15 In an hour. Well as far as using artificial i find it best to be used at ct on the sound. I feel the current is to strong under the bridge, coz we have tried lures, it simply just goes.here n there .
Well @mike to.me a striper n stripper just seeem to.be the same coz both of them.excites me.like.crazy,
Sorry for.the typo guys i.use my.crappy phone |

Don't mind Michael, sonamcobain. Two words always get him really excited: "stripper" and "Rapala". _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Strong current is tough either way. Thought maybe you were a bait only angler and had not tried artificials. I was slow to adopt but procuring bait was always a hassle and I don't miss it. _________________ Herring? |
