a little late but about 3 months ago i hit mill river fairfield and casted out a fat night crawler 2 big split shot 11 iches above the hook, 5 mins later reeled him in and stayed 30 more minutes and got 6 more.

What else besides brown bullheads and trout have you caught down by the children's pond?

At the river i caught yellow perch, sunnys, bullhead, eel, pond shinners, frogs, largemouth but at the pond it has been bass, eel, bluegill,pickerall,bullhead,yellowperch,crappie,white perch and seen tons of shad.
