After Twin Brooks Park, I headed down to the Wonderland of Ice to hit the Pequonnock. Lures I played with included bleeding pearl Original Floater F-7 and yellow perch Clackin Minnow CNM-7. Never had any hits or followers.
Headed over to Glenwood Park and stuck with the CNM-7. Did a retrieve where I'd give it a jerk or 2, pause to let it do its slow sinking, and then jerk a few times. Landed a chubby 12" 1 pound largemouth.
Hit the road around 4:30pm. |
