| Need recommendations on any seats or cushions that keep you comfortable while fishing on a kayak for a while and doesn't cause any after pain when you stand up again. Don't want the backrest to be too loose. |

If you want to go the cheap route, pick up a foam gardener's kneeling pad from Ocean State Job Lot for $1.25:
They work just fine for me.

The wondergel to me is the most comfortable cushion I've ever used. I use it every day and bring it with my to work as well. Derek recommended it a couple months back. You can find it a bit cheaper on eBay. Here's the link to their website. http://wondergel.com/

What about something for the back?
An issue I have with the current seat is it leans back a bit too much and there's no way of tightening it to make it stick straight up or lean back a tiny bit. |

| The wondergel cushion does the job for seat comfort. Not sure about the back though. Maybe a lumbar support. |
