Was up at Misquamicut, RI at dawn this morning, hoping for some big stripers chasing herring. Hit beach accesses from M to Green Hill between dawn and 10:00am. No signs of bait anywhere. Probably observed 100 sq. miles of water with binos. Nothing. Talked to Capt. Kerry at JB's in Niantic. Pretty much confirmed what I saw. His thinking was the herring might totally bypass the RI shore this year, maybe even Montauk. Much better bet is to fish the schoolies comming into the Housie or Thames. I know some big stripers will be heading to the far west and the Hudson, but I've never had to fish that way. Sad

Currently unemployed. When I was employed I was hardly making anything thanks to the employer. Trying to look for a job and have filled out many apps. Missed out on 2 opportunities due to time of day.

As for medical, I have epilepsy.

You arent getting the job hecause you dont have transportation! I know I wouldnt hire someone without a car. Not trying to be an arsehole but if you have to worm 2 shifts at McDonalds to get yourself a car then you could get a job that would pay better with a lot more hours. Anyone who says there are no jobs out there us full of it. They just choose not to get that job and some of them are understandable if they are making as much or more eith unemployement.

Sorry for screwing up this thread!!!!!

Since it's screwed..... Have no idea of Michaels epilepsy history, but just FYI Fishfinder, it's not a matter of just getting a car. The state won't let you drive if you suffer seizures!

On that note Mike, doubt I'll be fishing the lower Housie til early spring, but would let you know if I was down that way. Happy to pick you up if I was planning to fish in the Milford/Bridgeport area.
