I'm going to Bigelow on Tuesday with my wife to do some walking/hiking and of course fishing. Season there doesn't end until February. Tomorrow, I think I'm going to hit Risley for a few minutes during my travels. I have a Sunday off!! Haven't had a Sunday off since my trip to arizona last month!! Too bad Patriots are on a bye week though. I will try to fish Mashapaug from the boat launch area and one of the coves. |

I'll have another Squantz report coming tomorrow night. Same things as 2 weeks ago.
Rapala Shad Rap lineup vs Live Alewife, with a Rapala FLR-8 going into the water too. |

I was told about them putting walleye in zoar never thought they would do it. Hopefully the walleye grow and survive very well in there with the pike so i can have a walleye fishery closer to home. I might head to squantz since people are catching good sized ones but im most likely going to end up at a river until the lakes freeze over. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

The state biologists just like to do studies of walleyes, they don't want people to actually catch them, thats why they put them in batterson!!! LOL, ohh, it's our money that pays for them too! |

The City of Bridgeport and Beardsley Park should become more like The Town of Monroe and Great Hollow Lake with letting fishermen in. Everybody pays for the trout and catfish to go into the Pequonnock and Bunnells Pond so out of town fishermen shouldn't have to pay to get in. Just show your fishing license to say you're coming to fish, which is what Monroe does at the entrance to Great Hollow. |
