Im just checking in after sandys passing ....
Myself and family are fine ...anyone needs help let us know we are here with tools chainsaw 4w drive truck....also have extra water we can spare the stores and gas stations are working here so if you need suppys or things you cant get in your comunity speak up

This storm treated me a lot better than Irene...never lost power and my trees are all still rooted and intact. Sucks to see how badly our shorelines got pounded. Anyone needing shelter or electricity is welcome here...i can also foster any reptiles that require a reliable heat source.

No damage and my power came back on at 4:00 am. It didn't hurt that my house is on the southwest side of a hill and the worst of the wind was out of the northeast. Last October's storm made this year's easy. I'm glad that I live in the center of the state and not on the shore. Lower Manhattan (i.e., below 25th street) will probably be without power for three more days.
