Nice job!

I have been saying that this weekend will be the time to hit the salt because once Frankenstorm hits the fish will head deep and then head south.

Just got this pic from my friend TODAY doing some pre-Sandy fishing, assuming off Montauk.

I know what you mean. I haven't seen a single blitz this year which disappoints me.

STILL lot of time to do some casting! - especially with the high tides that might really push them in!

Just finished wiring the Emergen switch in the new house about 1 1/2 hours agoi. I was planning on just running a few cords as I really wanted to wait and install a new fuse box here and clean up the wiring mess in this house but I hate living on electrical cords everywhere when I could be living easy. Havent done the new fuse box as Im still saving for a furnace. Almost wasnt able to wire the gen as almost every store around was out of 10/4 and 8/4 wire!!!!! I found some 10/3 underground wire though which has the ground so its really 4 wire. $228 for all the wire!!!!!!! Shocked Crying or Very sad

I just wired my generator. Couldn't believe the cost of the wire. HD and Lowes were outa everything electrical related to the storm.

I had most everything already with the exception of the wire as I had it hooked up at my other house. This time instead of it running outside I have it inside my Shed which is a good strong shed with good locks! I only had about a 10" cord at the other house, this one needed 85'.

Took a walk to the Naugy/Housy Point this morning. 4 hours prior to High Tide the water level was at normal high tide. The news reported boats still moored at docks in all the rivers. Good luck to that massive investment. Insurance up to date! I wonder how many only take out seasonal insurance.
