Anyone hitting stripers on the Housy lately? I have heard reports of them thick up to the dam, but have yet to see one landed in the past few days. I've seen some breaking the water after bunker, but no fish on a line. Except for my 14 inch schoolie the other day.

I fished the Shelton side of the dam yesterday afternoon. No signs of bait or fish. They had the water running; just no signs of life yesterday, at least for me.

I tried O Sullivans the other night around 11 with both plugs and bunker chunk and never got a hit.

All the avatars look like stripers to me, one is pretty bloody though.

That's a striper I caught a year or so ago on the Shelton side of the dam. I tried bleeding him on the shore, which explains the blood. Not something I'd do again.

I was at O'Sullivan's early in the week last week. Bunker were around just about 30 minutes before High tide, about 5:00 pm. I put on a bunker snag, hooked into one and caught about a 33 incher. Very nice, and tasty too. I hooked onto another bunker then striper a few minutes later, but couldn't keep him on. So I just settled for the one. Another guy a bit down stream from me picked up what had to be almost 30 pounds. Beautiful fish.

I've been out of town since, so have been unable to post or fish.
