Does anyone think that they know from what kind of marine animal this eyeball came?

Probably was a squid that was either sick or hungry so came in to shallower areas for food. Then either got attacked by sharks or died from hunger. Or my second guess is that a commercial fishing boat got the squid caught in their net and probably didnt want to tell anyone or theyd face fines so they took the meat and threw the rest out.
