headed out today to fish the out going tide at long wharf pier in new haven. it started off slow with only a few snappers in the first hour. then as the tide started to go out more the fish bite was improving tremendously. there were a few times when every cast was a fish and i had my 10 fish limit in no time. i didn't stop fishing though because it was so much fun catching all of them. then a guy came down and chunked for about 5 minutes and hooked up to a 35inch blue right next to me. All in all a great day fishing down on the pier _________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work |

What do you use when you are fishing from the pier? I went once out there and didn't have any luck. My friend however did manage to drop fishing pole in the water there lol.
