It would be nice, if in your fishing reports, you were a little more detailed as to what exactly a "few decent fish" or "a few good one's" represent.

A few good ones to me would be 1-2 pounds. The 4 1/2lb "26" Smallie was caught on a White/Bone Spook at 6:30am from shore. My son hit a 5LB Largemouth around noon in a fallen tree on a Black Shad 3.8 Swim Bait with a slow retrieve. The few good ones we caught were all on dropshot rigs with absolutely no specific color being used. All the DS Baits were 4-4 1/2" Kitech's. We'd land one than nothing. Switch colors Dark/Light/Transparent and we'd catch one with each.

The only consistent lure is the Top Water Spook in Bone. Tried three other types of spooks, plugs, gun fish and nothing.

Hope this detail helps.

PS! All the fish that were caught Top in 8-15 of water where the weeds stop about 10 inches below the surface. All others over 20'. Swim Baits on big humps in the middle of the river.

decent fish to me are 15 to 17 inches - anything above 19 to 20 is a good fish --- i will be more specific! - but to tell you the truth sometimes on lilli ANY SIZE FISH IS A DECENT FISH when they are few and far between LOL!

Nice! Where do you get this stuff from! LOL

@rvolkers

I left a message yesterday. Thanks

Why's it gota be a age and money thing. Why can't just do it for fun and a bunch of laughs at the end of the day? As soon as I pick up another boat I'll jump in on that!

NOT AN AGE THING! - NOT MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE - NON OF THAT! - we just love fishing and to be honest! IT IS NOT AN EGO THING or a MONEY THING - for us it is a passion! - something WE ENJOY! - i work for a living (fishing NEVER COULD BE OR WILL BE ABOUT MONEY!) -- and don't get me wrong i take my hat off to anglers who make money doing what they love AND I KNOW MANY and I AM FRIENDS with the biggest in the business! --- they are dignified / respectful / willing to share knowledge AND willing to learn from others! - it is a funny thing about the internet YOU NEVER KNOW WHO your talking to or about and what a persons background is!! AND IT IS A VERY SMALL WORLD! - KEEP YOUR MONEY sounds like thats ALL YOU HAVE or CARE ABOUT!
