| Hi All, my name is Paul, and I've been fishing for about 40 years or so... I live in Rocky Hill, grew up in Manchester, and have probably fished every stream pond and lake in a 40 mile radius of Hartford. Most of them have been "legal" to fish in, all of them make for great memories. All species of fish have been targeted at one time or another, and I've spent some time in the sound as well. Fly, bait, lures, 4 seasons, you name it, I've probably tried it. (except for dynamite) I bumped into Phil? last summer at Spring Pond in Avon, and have probably fished 40 times since that. So, I've got some posting catching up to do, including figuring out how to post a picture of me with a 7.4 LMB I pulled out this spring from the Lower Bolton Lake. Don't fret, I put them all back in, except where there is an overpopulation in certain private ponds I frequent. I'm out pre-dawn most weekends, you'll see me in a green Pelican canoe. You could have seen me being dragged in it by a 42" pike alonside route 9 last Sat morning just up from the Mattabasett....Anyway, my girls gave me a new camera so I can't stretch the truth anymore, and they'll help me to figure out how to post pictures soon. I've enjoyed everyone's posts, and hope you'll like mine. So, this Sat & Sun I'll be out there, Pike or Bass, depending on the wind, and I'll start sharing how I did, and how I did it. |
