Just curious if anyone out there has had any success with the Rapala Clanckin' Cranks (CNR series). I picked up two yesterday ( 3' shallow diver and medium diver 4'-7'). The colors i went with were perch and silver. Cant wait to try them out |

The Rapala Clackin Crank has been a big success for me this year. My main model and color is the CNC-53 in Pearl Grey Shiner. Pearl Grey Shiner I believe is now dicontinued. Other colors I like are Helsinki Shad and Olive Crawdad.
Here's some great catches I've had this year.
Rare 4.8 pound largemouth bass at Bunnell's Pond
5 1/2 pound largemouth inhaled it at a private lake
6 pond largemouth at private lake
Many more largemouths and a number of crappie and bluegills. |

I really like the olive color too. Looks a bit like a golden shiner color IMO. Unfortunately I lost mine. I have two more in different colors that I am waiting to test out soon. |

So i finally tried out one of the CNC-53's for the first time friday at highland lake in Winsted (used color silver). Fished for an hour and pulled out 4 bass with the largest being around 2 pounds so nothing huge, but its an awesome lure. It was the first time i was using my new Old Town kayak also so i was getting used to be so low and close to the water. I cant believe ive fished for so long without a kayak... |

Instead of a new Rapala, make it a few kayak fishing or bluefishing trips |

Clackin Cranks float. You must have had a Clackin Rap. |
