Wanted to try somewhere I haven't been in a while (like years) this weekend and I remember having success in the past at both these places.

Anyone been to either lake lately?

How's the bass fishing been?

Which would you choose?

Nice!! Thanks for the reply. I remember having good luck the last time I was there, but that was over 10 years ago Embarassed

I keep reading how bad the pleasure boaters are here, but hopefully at this time of year it shouldn't be too bad.

Anyone been to Moodus lately?

the boaters are bad. The temps have not dropped off far enough to stop them, and there are still a lot of row teams working there. The jon boats that are coaching them are what cause so much problems because they are lame. They are watching their team and not the water and not giving way to fishermen. They will stay on the shore side and sir everything up vise running in the middle and being curtious. Best off early morning or late. I go about 4 and stay an hour or so after sunset.
