|
|
Since there has been a lot of bickering lately about sizes of fish and pictures. I will post pictures of 4 fish that Ryan and I caught Wednesday night. I will follow with a full report in a day or two after some guesses have come in. 3 of the 4 fish were measured with a digital scale, and the one that was not can be estimated accurately by us, after seeing the other fish we weighed. I hope that this will show that pictures mean a lot in sizing fish or at the very least will be some fun. If you're not into this, that is fine and I'm not trying to start any arguments. Here goes.
Fish #1
Fish#2
Fish #3
Fish #4

It's hard to guesstimate without knowing the lengths of the fish, but:
Fish # 1 - 2-1/2
Fish # 2 - 3-1/2
Fish # 3 - 2
Fish # 4 - 3
What lures were they hitting, anyway?
Now, hit the books, guys! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

#1 - 1-3/4 lbs
#2 - 2-3/4 lbs
#3 - 3 lbs
#4 - 1-3/4 lbs
This is harder than it looks! |

Do you really think that Fish #3 looks bigger than Fish #2, Dawg? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

If you guys want a small hint, I'm about 5'11" 240 Lbs. Ryan is probably about 6' 180 if I had to guess. _________________ The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. ~A.K. Best |

That's my guess. #3 he is holding the fish close to his body and #4 his arm is outstretched. Looking at his fist size vs. the fish size I say 3 is bigger than 4. I could be way off though |

Trick question, you guys only caught one fish. They're all the same.
Id put them all right in the 2 pound range, give or take 1/4 pound.
First one looks smallest, probably 1lb 11ounce or something.
Need pics of girth, cant tell just looking dark pic of side of fish.
Good trip though, by the way! |

Its tough to say because skinny dude is holding fish way out from his body and bigger dude is holding them tight to his body.
I would say all are under 3lbs and maybe #2 is 3lbs but thats the farthest one he is holding out so its tough to say. _________________ Never Stop Learning |

So I really have no idea how much they weigh and can't give an estimate without length. I have caught 4 lbers that looked like 2 lbers and 1lbers that looked like 3 lbers lol.
But....I guess I can take a guess of which weighs the most to least? I am probably way off..
So going from heaviest to lightest I would say..
Number 3
Number 2
Number 4
Number 1
For some reason 3 looks the biggest to me. Maybe it's the way it's being held idk. Looks like you've been havin some fun fishing up there regardless of the weights though . _________________ Steve |
