It's a tough place to bait fish. Better luck with spoons and poppers. _________________ Trust me. Use waxworms ! |

yes sir, but i didnt have bunker that day so used chicken as replacement lol, but a couple of weeks ago i had hooked on to 7 big ones on bunker, but lost them all due to a bad cheap azz reel which kept on jamming, All of them must have been atleast around 28-29 pound range judging from the fight and past experience, But it was still fun hooking on lil blues with the spoon. INcase u see a 12 inch with a hole under the jaw, do tell him howdya from me lol.
all in all
its not only the fish thats hooked but the person who is fishing is hooked too! |

Once a year we use beer cans for blues. They're not too picky. Biggest fish wins a case of DogFish Head 90 Min. IPA.
Doesn't even need to be pretty! Rules are a hook, lead and a beer can. Nothing else allowed. Big Steve with a fish from our last Blue Fish Bash.
