In the search bar above at the top of the screen there's a spot you can search. Just type Silver Lake and a bunch of reports will come up. This section is for posting reports, not general discussion. _________________ Steve |

It seems that people on this site have a very hard time understanding what a fishing REPORT is. _________________ Never Stop Learning |

Sorry, meanjean. My reply wasn't directed specifically at you or anyone in particular. It definitely takes a while to figure out where to post stuff. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

you are right it wasn't meant to be hard on the guy. Its not really that hard to notice the difference between a report and a discussion. _________________ Never Stop Learning |

No problem, I didn't realize this talk site was so regimented. It won't happen again. |

LOL.
silver lake is shallow, very weedy, and super-polluted. one of the few ponds with a "do not eat" advisory from the DEEP. there are fish there...but it gets Beat Down from boats and some shore access.
If you go... heavy jigs, weedless frogs/rats, or creature baits rigged texas is what you want this time of year.
mostly, you will catch small bass, with the occasional bass pushing 3 pounds.
although its close to my home... i dont go there anymore. that might tell ya something. |
