I snuck away for a couple hours this evening and fished the farmington down on spoonsville in east granby. I was targeting smallmouth. Fished some tubes and some grubs along with a few crankbaits. The water was fairly cool considering the conditions and I brought about half a dozen fish in. None were over half a pound . I was wondering if anyone else has had success around that area as it looks pretty fishy. I know down lower to the ctr the farmy has some good bass in it as well as some of the smaller ctr tribs. Was just curious if anyone has caught any decent fish from the area (2lbs or better range) Any info would be appreciated , Thanks |

The Spoonville Dam is about 1/2 mile upriver from Spoonville Road and the Route 187 Bridge. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
