I havent been there in a couple of weeks due to the extremely low water levels. Maybe with the recent rain the level went up a bit... although i still bet its very very low. I might swing by there sometime this week to check it out.

I plan on trying it this saturday, I hope i can get a 14' aluminum bot in there.

You shouldn't have any trouble launching into either the lower or middle cove from Point Road in Glastonbury. The ramps are crude, but they're fine for launching small boats. Your biggest problem might be traffic and parking.

Yeap, but the water can get really skinny at low tide.
