 Fished a point on the river from shore in Milford. Caught a 31 inch blue on squid and bunker! First fish on new rod. Will post pics when I can. Great fight!

| Thanks Joef- Someone gave me leftover bait this year, but I wasn't fishing this spot last year. Thanks if you meant this year, and that's cool to give your leftover bait-if your not going to use it soon- |

Nice freakin fish! Ive been bombing out this year big time, biggest blue so far is only like 14"! Im about to give up salt water until fall. I was probably right around the corner or in the same spot as you friday after work for 2 1/2 with not a bite, then moved to west haven for another 2.5 and then hit bonds dock until like 3:30 am and in all that time I only got 1 taylor and a few schoolies!
