night surfcasting bunker chunks at milford. got alot of 10 to 15 pound blues. at least 5 every night. also 5 a.m. to about 630 been getting alot to on popper. i would have pictures but i dont keep blues because they taste like garbage.

how do you cook them? i dont eat the big ones because their meat is so oiley and it looks like crap. i ussually use their chunks as crab bait

My parents bread the fish and fry it on the skillet. Also they have deep fried blue fish chunks and they were amazing.

u gota bleed the smaller onews and eat them that night....just fry in seasond flour and breadcrumbs...its good

Blues up to 6 pounds are the ones I keep. They're better eating and don't have the oils and fishy flavor bigger ones have. I bake 2 or 3 fillets on a baking tray in the oven at 375 for 8 to 10 minutes depending on size of fillet. Your choice of herbs and spices with a thin layer of oil.

Did you know that baking bigger fish fillets gives you the natural flavor of the meat more than frying does?

nope but i dont know how to bake stuff im 14 lol and dont u go fishing in milford alot?

I fish the Reef and West Haven mostly, but do sometimes go to the Charles Island sandbar.
