So I decided to check out the Salmon Brook in Granby under the Hungary Rd bridge. It was about 12:30pm, cloudy and overcast. Water was knee deep some spots getting waist deep in others. Tied on a black Cahill parachute and started casting. The water was clear enough to see the attack. Got bites the first couple casts from smaller fish (fallfish). Then about my 4th cast I get a strike from something bigger! Decent fighting fish. Landed a 8-10in Brown Trout. Fished a little longer and landed a small Fallfish. I fished for about an hour and it was raining so I called it quits. I almost didn't go out but I thought. "PECo is fishing right now I bet"

lol...nice job! Love the source of your inspiration
I've pulled some nice brookies out of Salmon Brook. You'll see more action once the water starts to cool off in the fall. |

I only wish that I had been able to go fishing this weekend! I'm in Manhattan right now. I'm not fishing, but still enjoying myself. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
