Stopped by for an hour today! Caught one off a Smoke Pepper Purple Ribster.

I gotta say! The BASS were killing the frogs (Live/Real Ones) in the thickest, densest cover you could find. They were coming right up on shore (with in a foot of me) to feed. Areas you wouldn't even think to toss your line it was so thick.

I wish my phone had video! The frogs were lined up on branches in the water (ten to a branch). A bass would hit the branch, get the frogs to jump and the feeding frenzy was on!

A few years ago while I was fishing upper parts of Beardsley Park, I live lined a small frog and let it hop on top of weeds. Got a few swirls and did some light twitching with it before catching a 2 1/2 pound largemouth with it.

My buddies grand father livelines them any chance he gets, and he catches some lunkers, you can catch the frogs pretty easy by dangling small soft plastic lures in front of them, then hook em thru the back and send em' out there! Wink
