Chatted a bit with Zach 0208 and decided to go fishing the other day....it didnt work out due to rain prediction ( it never came ) and instead my wife got the night out while I watched no ta single drop fall.

Reschedule to July 30th 430AM - Zach0208 is a trooper, not many will meet up with me at that hour to fish - even though its the best time to head out

When i'm on the water i'm an inflatable guy and so is Zach0208. Me in a pontoon boat and Z in his kayak and it's on! If you get a chance to fish with Z he has got quite the setup, compared to me at least - fish finder, a few nice rods/reels - lots of jangly spinnerbaits - he was ready to fish!

We inflated, set up our gear on our respective vessels and paddled out. I got first fish of the day - a brave little bluegill hitting a topwater popper that was way bigger than him! I tossed him in back and headed to the dark end of the pond to beat the sun while Z stayed in the sun using his fish finder technology. Switching to my UL gear I got hooked up on a nice little 1lb bass in the back corner that gave me quite a fun fight! - ripped that drag fast and then tired out allowing me to land him with ease.

My allotted time was up so I paddled back and said goodbye to Z and headed home. I heard he started catching after I left - I musta been bad luck Smile

Is your video made with a GoPro? Or is it just a regular video camera attached to you? That's a nice vid.

I want to pick one of those up thats why I was asking. They are perfect for hands free filming for sure, and the quality of the video was good. I don't really need a digital camera because I have 3 cell phones and they are all over 8mp each with Carl Zeiss lenses lol. More interested in the video recording....hands free especially!

nice video...the water is nice when it's quiet there. I haven't had much luck there lately. May hit there tomorrow night for a bit.

yep get one - i took a chance and got one used on EBAY for a steal ! - im addicted to all the mounting options it has - gotta get the chest mount goin on very soon and see how that angle is for fishing - sometimes, if the angle is off, I miss the entire recording from my head - it takes a bit of practice to get the angles right for the panoramic paddle views and then adjust to up close fish handling views but im gettin there
