Hi Phil,
Not to worry !
Just stick with " US Deep Sea Scollops' .... They're harvested offshore in the cold Atlantic on the continental shelf.
Stay away from bay scollops which are smaller ..... plus most come from overseas.
The only bay scollops I will ever purchase is "Nantucket Sound Bay Scollops" harvested in cold water and very tender and sweet ! ..... hard to find, and there's a short season to harvest them.

the whale was dead when it washed up on shore. been dead for over a week. has been dead for some time to the point they may not be able to figure out why it died. it was a female. this all from the article i read today. |
