Here we go again ...is it just me or have we had an increase in boating accidents this year? There's a lot of incompetent/impaired people driving boats/jet skis on our waterways |

YES!
Your correct!
More accidents across the US because there are more boaters operating vessels without proper boat training, inattention to where and what they're doing, .... and the worst are those that have the need for speed !
Stay Safe ...... Give your fellow boaters room and marine courtesy ..... AND OBEY THE "RULES OF THE ROAD"

Hope they recover well, and learn the lesson....
From today on, I will never speed when paddling my kayak... |

I just recently got my boaters certificate this year because im turning 15 and my dad decided i should get it incase something ever happened when me and him go out fishing. And when i was taking the course i really didnt learn anything new. Just having my dad standing next to me and telling me what to do was more helpful than sitting 8 hours in a room watching a powerpoint. I think it should be more hands on. Instead of being told how to drive a boat you should experience driving the boat with an instructor next to you. Yes it would take more time for everyone to get their license but it would definitaly improve the driving on lakes or the ocean. In the long run, there would be less crashes and injuries from "bad boaters". _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |
