Hi everyone,
My name is Dan and I'm from Hamden. I just started fishing regularly this year and really started getting into it (I've fished casually as a kid). I've been lurking this board about a month or two, so I figured I'd join.
My biggest catch of the year (so far) was a 15" Rainbow Trout out of the Farm River in Branford about 2 weeks ago. Since I'm new to the sport, I've only found a few spots and only have the equipment to go trout fishing (hopefully that will change if I buy a bass pole I've been eyeing tomorrow). My home waters are the Mill River in Hamden (primarily at Sleeping Giant).

| Thanks Herd. I'm not too familiar with the fishing in Middletown other than Silver Lake which I heard is worth passing over. If I plan on coming up to the area, I'll shoot you a PM. |
