I hit a new lake for a few hours

Grabbed a quick dink and then a 2lber on the chatterbait. Messed around on a steep shore (damn) with senkos for 30 minutes and then picked up a 1/2oz jig and otter combo. First few casts and I catch a few 1pounders. I catch a few more and a few more.

Come up to a big tree and 5 casts in, TICK, WHACK him good. Wraps me in the tree good but I trolled over to the tree and just grabbed the fish with the grip of the gripper himself. Broke the branches i was tangled on and started shaking. Thought she went 6lbs but only a 5 8. Few shitty pics and off she swam. 21inches
