Anybody have any reports on West Hill? Tonight was my first time back there since mid-may and I don't know what I was doing different this time but I couldn't keep the sunfish off of my line. Last time out I was using the same stuff and got 6 trout.............anybody catching them?

I haven't fished it since last season. If your targeting trout and your getting sunnies, Your too shallow. Sunnies like warm water and trout go deep for cooler water.

Try about 20 feet deep.

I got there right at sunset and fished into the dark so I figured with the sun being gone it wouldn't matter. But apparently it did.

was at west hill last week . while the trout and kokanee are definitely down deep i had good action with the bass with 5 inch watermelon worms with paddle tail , weightless, right before sun rise in front of the docks to the south of boat launch. turned back off as the sun hit the water so get there early---5-ish would be good as a note-was surprised boat launch is open 24/7-im really tired of places that dont let u on water till 9 or 10-whats the use then??????????
