i've been hitting the muck just about every weekend at night. sticking with the basics, spinnerbait, buzzbait, jig.
usually fishing 12am-7am
needless to say fishing has been on fire

Some sweet fish!! I need to hit that place up more often but it's tough on the weekends in a kayak. Too many crazy people out in boats up there on the weekend. |

Ok...while it's out there, how do you guys fish at night? I dont do it much unless I'm killin em and get held over. Head lamp's, red light....what's the best way to manage night fishing in a small boat, or in my case a canoe? _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |

as far as light, i use a headlamp w/ blue light... but you couldn't pay me to take a yak or canoe to c.mond at night, the drunk party boaters are gonna kill someone. they fly around the lake full throtle no lights and dont care.
not sure where you live but crystal lake has a great night bite _________________ http://www.northernctbassanglers.com/ |

Awesome. Thats a great trip.
I'd love to fish that lake. Always hearing about it but its a good distance away from me and with no boat I am hesitant to go all the way up there and shore fish. |

Great job.! Nice to see C-mond still has some nice bass in it!
