Since I don't know the pond at all, can anyone here give me a good place to start at the pond? I'll be fishing from the shore since I don't have a boat at the moment. Thanks for any help! Smile

Well, there are really only two areas that you can reach easily; the riprap wall on the south end and the riprap wall on the north end:

There are some spots between the vegatation to the west of the riprap wall on the north end, but I rarely catch largemouth bass there. The carpers often fish there.

you can fish from the boat launch area and that rip rap area...but it seems the weeds are growing in close to the shore. I go past there every day, I work in Bristol.

I ended up going with three other people and we all got skunked. It's definitely a lake that you need a boat for. I was fishing along the shore where you see the sign that says "no trespassing" and talks about the prices and what time the park closes. We then moved near the rocky shore to the left of that and nothing. We were all throwing senko's, original floaters, and Husky Jerks. I'm sort of intimidated by the lake as far as shore fishing goes. It's tough. If I'm in the area again, I'll try the north end like you pointed out. I really appreciate the advice!

The prices? For what? Did they post the amount of the fines for fishing violations?

No, not for fines (as far as I know). It had prices for Senior citizens, Adults, and children. It was near the beach part where I'm assuming they allow swimming since I saw people in the water over there. There is also a sign at the same place that says "no wading". Do you know what part I'm talking about?

Not really, but I'll check it out the next time that I'm there.

I think he's talking about the camp over by the beach in the NW corner. Not sure though.
