Me and my buddy hit up the local pond again but this time for some night fishing Very Happy we fished from 8-10.

Well first we started by taking casts off the dock before we took the paddle booat out. Well my buddys fifth cast he yells fish on and this thing was peeling drag! I grabbed the net and after a 7 minute fight he landed a beautiful 5.1 ounce monster on a 4 inch wacky rigged senko.
Then we took the boat out to a deep water spot with tons of weeds we caught about 9 there in total on wacky rigs and buzzbaits with a 2.5 and a 3lber.
Then we went to a ledge that always produces and we caught like 4 there all 1-1.5 lber
Then we went back to shore around 9.45 and i caught 1 and he caught 1 all in all a great night of nightime bassin!!! We caught about 16-17 fish in total

Small ponds that hardly get pressured give you best fishing, whether it be fish size, strength, or numbers.

Nice job!

I live to find that little farm pond with years of no pressure. Records have come from ponds like that. Just do what ya love and keep a line in the water Ryan!

I second that. I have my own small ponds that I keep private with other close fishing buddies.

I just got home from the local fishing hole as well. It was a top-water night for me as I caught 4 in half an hour with my rebel crickhopper poppper!

That's exactly what I'm talking about Alex. I boat fish often, but what's better than after dinner top water action at the local pond. No half hour in and out with the boat. Just a frog, possibly an adult beverage, and a world of dreams below the still water.
