a few friends of mine have been doing really well at night at Candlewood on topwaters, give it a try Wink last time they went they got 3 five pounders and lost one much bigger and a ton of 2-3lbers

Thanks guys but ya pike I heard early morning and late afternoon top water from a guide I know. He told me some spots too.

I've had unparalleled success this year and last, since I've switched to soft frogs. I always fish evenings. You can either buzz these frogs on top, or slow roll them a couple feet below the surface. I feel bad for my jittebugs. They've gone from "go to" to hardly ever.
