We went out Sunday afternoon.....ending of High tide and stayed around till an hour before low.....not a single hit by blues or striper....just tons of sea robins...and big ones....time to learn some sea robin recipes...lol...

We ran into several bunker schools coming an going....so we snagged some fresh bait.....for next time I guess.....

I was suprised especially as they got dragged out of the harbor and past the lighthouse that there were no blues or striper lighting them up...are they just not in there in yet???

Any ideas? Should I be fishing up near Hatchetts/Bartletts?

2 weeks ago when my dad and I were there in the evening 3 hours before high, we hit bluefish. It's been the eastern side showing signs of blues. I also caught a schoolie there that evening and recently caught a short fluke on that side too. Tons of sea robins hogging the western side.
