There's a small paddle get together on July 8th at Williams Pond/Lake Williams in Lebanon at RT 207. (google earth is your friend) It's a completely informal fishing day, big fish pool, cookout. So far there are about 6 guys confirmed. Start time is 7am for the pool with color coded measuring tapes issued. Length and girth with picture's required for pot for catch and release. Photo weigh in at 1pm. People keeping can bring fish to "weigh in." This is all for fun, so majority decision rules. After, we will cook, drink and lie about fishing. It's a nice lake with lots of diversity...easily paddled, but has powerboats. The ski folks are there, but dont get out till after lunch. Everyone is going to bring something to throw on the grill or be a part of lunch, and it's BYOB. Yak, canoe, raft, log with oars, fat mother-in-law.....all welcome (for the lunker pool) People with powered yak's...ect are welcome, in fact you can bring a 42 Fountain and party, but not during the pool. The only real requirement is you like to fish, and your not an ass hat. PM me if you have any interest. _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |

Bump back to top. I know this isnt a report, but I wanted it in a high traffic area. Not even a nibble on this...I'm surprised. Is it the location? Big fish pool has been opened up to electric trolling motors on whatever. Gonna have some fun!! _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |

Same here, it's the last day of our July vacation. But I've liked the looks of Williams since we looked at a house there last year, good bass lake. |

Just let me know as it gets closer to the 8th folks. There will be some food planning at some point. Also, bass pool has been opened up to electric kickers on any sort of craft. All for fun and no stress! So far it's about 8 boats confirmed. _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |

I attended the CTFF Yak Together, yesterday. There were a great bunch of guys there. We had 10 boats on the water, but only managed to come up with a lunker that was under 17 inches long. After reviewing my photos, I found that I had boated only 20 fish (I thought I had more); 18 largemouth bass, one sunfish and one black crappie. My lunker was within an inch of the winner, which has yet to be determined; I think I might have to start giving kayak fishing photography lessons.
Thanks for the invitation, Dave! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

I also attended and had a great time, with a great bunch of guys. I took my 11 year old son his second time fishing from his kayak and he too had a great time and caught four fish.
Nice meeting you Phil.
Dave thanks so much for putting this out on here and helping get some guys from here I really had a good time and thanks for the hamburgers, had them for dinner and lunch so far. I encourage anyone that reads this to attend the next one. What made this a success was much like this website and the other one involved is everyone is willing to share their knowledge and help. Also the fact that it was for fun and you were not pressured into the pool. Thanks again to you Dave. |

It was a pleasure to meet you guys, do some fishing and share some tips and lunch. Hopefully, more will attend next time, There's already talk of a fall outing. I'll brush up on my photo skills between now and then. Thank you gents for a great day out!! _________________ Dave..... I can be a pain in the bass. |
