Fished white oaks then keeney today for bass, caught some small ones to 1 3/4 lbs. ,but thats not what I was looking for , couple small pickerel too, the water was pretty muddy and the fish weren't cooperating for me, I would catch one here, one there but couldn't put together a solid bite Wink I'm probably going to give somewhere else a try tomorrow, Any suggestions of where? A clear rocky lake probably!??? -Dan

It's been tough lately. I only landed 4 fish today after a good 4 hours...one being a 22 inch pickerel at Hamburg Cove. Also thought I was gonna capsize after a huge wake some boat threw in the river. Try Mansfield! I'm thinking of taking a trip there or Bashan.

Can't go wrong with Candlewood. I talked with a fisherman there today and he said the early morning topwater bite is phenomenal right now.
