Thanks its great to be here. It is by far my PB sadly i dont own a scale and i have no clue how much she weighed but she was heavy.. I welcome any guesses cuz i cant even estimate it just dont know enough about the sizes.. The fish actually snapped off right on shore forcing me to jump in and chuck it up on land.. Very thankful to have landed this beauty.. Pierpont lake in Ridgefield, to be honest i have only caught little guys here so to catch this one took me by total suprise

I can't give you anything accurate past a 6 pounder but id guess 7 or 8 pounds

Wow thanks guys thats awesome either way its the biggest bass ive ever caught.. Think its time to purchase a scale though just incase anymore of these guys come along. I agree with those estimates though this fish was heavy. Cant wait to get back out there!

What a beauty Dog! No way to guess the weight from a picture. 5#'s can look like 8, and 10 pounders....well, they look like 10 pounders. Either way, there's nothing like a personal best!! When I was a kid, I got a 6 pound bass on the dock. It was flopping around and came loose and fell in the water. My dad jumped in after it and came up with the bass. Did you measure it, or were you too busy soiling your trousers...lol. Great freaking fish. Welcome to the board!!

That's great dude! I may have been busy throwing up after having to tackle it in the lake too. Did you get a picture of it hanging vertically? That may help with guesstimates on the weight.

I was just about to say 6. It's long. Beat down old tail mac daddy. Fine fish.
