Heading out for a fluke trip on the Gail Francis tomorrow. Hopefully I will have a good report and pics to bring back. (and fish) What is the best way to post pictures on here ? i still don't understand how it works.

fishing was slow... i brought home a 3 pound fluke and a 3 pound seabass. caught a half a dozen shorts. some good fish were brought in, however. bunch of keeper fluke and seabass, a few blues, a couple of hake, sea robin and small shark. a dozen or so of the seabass were big 4lbs and up, and the biggest fluke was 10 pounds. it was a slow day but for a few regulars that did pretty well fishing Spro jigs hi-lo with squid or sprearing on them. if your'e going to go on one of these or even to just go for fluke i would suggest using this rig. it is the most productive drift fishing rig i have seen for these species.

How far is the francis from the Hartford ara if you had to guess?

there are 3 routes to choose from, all which take just under 2 hours. its around 90 miles one way. they are out of Point Judith.
