Hi,

Well I just got about 98% of the lawn cut when the storm hit.
These summer T-Storms can come up fast so I always check the doppler radar to see which way the storms will travel in.

I watch the Wx like a hawk -> Been caught unexpectedly a few times at sea in a "White Squall" -> Not Fun!

Have also been hit a number of times by lightning which sometimes results in a display of "St. Elmo's Fire" -> That is very erie to see! Shocked

When out on the water -> I always keep a weather eye to the W and NW and time the lightning to when I hear the thunder.
This way I know how far away the storm is.

Still I take these storms seriously! -> Better to pack things in and head for home then take unnecessary chances Exclamation

Right now the rain is coming down in buckets -> But I'm dry and enjoying a drink and a bit of my smoked salmon ! Thumbs Up

So refreshing and exciting to hear that thunder!

Get that adrenaline in you going when you see that lightning!

Listen to that heavy downpour or hail hit your a/c!

Who's in for a great show out there?

My wife is from Texas and laughs when I get excited for thunderstorms up north.
