The warm winter has also seemed to help the bass. They didn't seem so skinny after ice out! May have had less die off due to the mild temps?

Hi E,

Well I'm retired now and live here in Winsted, Ct.
Talk about fishing Narvana! Very Happy

I'm no more than 20 + minutes ride from most ponds, lakes, and rivers up here in the NW corner.
Highland, Colebrook, Hogback, Howell's, Stillwater, West Hill, Burr, Park, Winchester, Farmington, Still, West Side, Bantam, Tyler, East & West Twin, Lakeville etc., etc., etc.

Best of all, the wife, just says "Have Fun" as long as she knows where I'll be at Exclamation ....... NICE LADY! Very Happy Thumbs Up

Hi SeaDog1, I'm in the same town. I can litterally be at Highland in 3 minutes(as long as I can find my gear-CRS). But fish McDonough and Winchester more often. Less yahoo-er's!

Maybe we'll see ya out there? Wink
