I have been reading the threads for a while. Just joined last evening and wanted to say hello. I will try to post some fishing reports from the lakes my son and I fish often. I'll also post some pic's of the catch of the day!

Thanks. My son and I have put in some quality time on the water. That and some luck, We think we have done very well. At 12 his PB LMB is over 6LBS.
I'll try posting pictures(when I figure it out) of the 2 5 plus's he caught in a row this saturday.

Welcome aboard. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of that trip. Photo's on forums have to be "hosted" through another site. Posting them is easiest through a place like photobucket.com. Register (free) Have them in a "my pictures" file for windows, or on the desktop for MAC. Hit upload button on photobucket and select the pictures up to 3 at a time. This will start an album. Have this site, and photobucket open in separate tabs. Write your text (report) and when you're ready to insert a picture go to PBket and under the pic you want you will see IMG code. Click the white box to the right and then hit copy. Go back to the text here, and hit paste. This will insert the code for the picture. Write more, insert another picture....and so on. Later you can figure out how to resize them so the picture isnt huge. Preview before you submit so you can edit things before it posts. OR....you could ask your kid to do it, more than likely faster than it takes you to read this post. Good luck.

I've seen plenty of kids even at the age of 12 where they are still afraid to hold a fish by the mouth and all they use is worms. |

Thanks guys, I should have took a picture of myself. I had a smile ear to ear! Got to work on his smile some with them big fish pic's. Maybe when he gets his 8 plus!!
He's been fishing with me since he was 4, Casting his own stuff since he was 6 with a spincast. Graduated to spinning shortly after and has thrown baitcasters since 10. My only complaint is what ever I wait to buy, It now has to be in quantity of 2's!!
We fished mostly from a small boat until this year. We now own a 17' Stratos to chase down the bruisers and hopefully enter a few tourneys!
