| Not sure what your question is, but when I was a kid I used to go to Zoar every Saturday with my dad. We're talking back 40 years ago. We used to troll the shore all day with shiners hooked through the nose as close to the shore as the boat could go and slow. When the fish hit we let go of the line and let him have it a couple minutes then hooked him and brought him in. We used to stop on the shore and cook hot dogs for lunch and then get back to it all day long. These days the lake has PCB's and I think the only people that fish are some tournaments. Not like it used to be years ago. Now I fish Candlewood. |

Most of connecticut has PCB's Used to be lots of heavy industry dumping waste into our rivers !! Oh those PCB'S were there 40 years ago you just didn't know it yet !! Most of those PCB'S were put there in the early 1900's !!! surprisingly there are less PCB'S thru out connecticut today then there was 40 years ago !!! Damn science teacher!! Only If he could hear me now !! Lol
