Got to BP around 8:00 AM equipped with 1/2 doz sawbellies. went to the far end across from the boat launch. I had one Alewife 40 feet down and one at 25 feet. Nothing for 2 hours on either one trolling. Had one more hooked through the back on top. Clipped his back fin so he would swim franticly. I almost caught my PB of a largemouth! got him right next to the boat... looked for my net.... realized I forgot it in my truck!!!!!! Looked back at the monster (between 5-6 lbs, easy 28 incher) and he snapped my line right next to the boat.
Oh well that's fishin. _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

I hate when that happens. Although you do know that a 28" LMB would weigh about 14lbs give or take a pound |

An average northern 10 year old bass is 24'' and 12 pounds so that may have been pretty close to a record. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |
