Had to run an errand after dinner, ended up hitting Risley Reservoir about 7:45. Caught a small pickerel on a perch shad rap shallow....that was by the center cylindrical thingy.... then went down to the over flow area and caught a bigger fatter chain pickerel and a nice 1 / 1.5 bass on a rapala firetiger 2 inch floater!
Lots of turtle action tonight...had to be half dozen or so turtles popping their heads up as the sun was going down.

Nice job.

Perch and Firetiger have been 2 of my main color patterns this year on the bass too.

Firetiger I've noticed since last year has been a very good color for me as well. Nice job on the pickeral. I love catching them since I never get a chance to go for pike.

Have to agree on perch and firetiger. I like the way they look in the water as much as the fish do.

I've never tried the firetiger, i'll have to give it a go.

Helsinki shad has been great for me, as well as yellow perch, and bluegill.

1 bleeding color that's been getting lots of attention for me is Bleeding Pearl. Silver Shad on the Jointed Shad Rap has been another big producer for me this year as well.

Shiny pearl silver and gray are what both of them have.
